Hello!
My name is Bernardo (or Benny) Garcia and I'm from Laguna Hills, California. Here's where I can share some details about myself. But first I'd like to say thank you for visiting my portfolio site!
Who the heck are you?
I'm Benny Garcia, a proud son of Mexican immigrants who loves to draw characters and tell stories! I drew a bunch as a child, usually about all the TV shows I watched and the video games I played. However, I only really started taking art classes until I attended California State University, Fullerton. There, I learned from all the industry pros about the animation pipeline and became enamored with the design process of it all. Designing characters is one of my favorite things to do, as well as storyboarding to see those characters interact with each other. I graduated in May of 2020 from CSUF with a Bachelor's in Entertainment Art/Animation, so I'm currently looking for work, either on a show, comic, or even a video game.
When I'm not drawing, I'm usually playing video games, my favorites being Destiny 2 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (I main Warlock and Yoshi, respectively). If I'm not doing that, I'll be out on a walk or spending time with friends and family who have showered my with support for my career, and for that I am truly grateful.
